Catch Cans?
Hi All,
I am about to jump into modding my 2015 1LE and I was looking at ordering an Oil Catch Can. I have seen a few different ones but really don't know what is the difference between them. I have seen the BBK from RDP for a reasonable price as well as a JLT from another vendor. Does anyone have any experience with these or are there others I should be looking at? TIA |

While nothing is wrong with the ones you listed, Elite Engineering is the top name when it comes to catch cans. They are well built and have amazing customer service. You can order direct from them http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/

So I am seeing a lot of different recommendations. As I can see there is price difference between them, what is the real difference between them besides price? One catches more oil vapor etc?

It don’t come easy.

Usually, you only get a little in the bottom between oil changes. It’s more on how much vacuum is occurring. The can just “catches” it.

The reason I went with the Mike Norris vs a Mishimoto or Moroso unit was because of the capacity. The Mike Norris cans are very tall and can hold a lot if you miss a drain or two.

I have a mishimoto catch can. A little on the pricey side, but I have multiple Mishimoto parts on my car. They're a quality company.
