Nitrous
I have a 2010 SS, Magnuson TVS2300 Supercharger, and a rough idle cam.
I am looking for more boost and is nitrous the way to go or just rebuild the engine. |

How built is the motor to handle more power? A 100 or 200-shot will add nicely and will really jack up your torque down low. You're still going to have the taper off heading into the higher RPMs though. If you decide the N2O route, ensure you use use a good controller and have the tune spot on. Nitrous really ups the game for mo' powa.

N2O is the cheapest bang for the buck but what Dreksnot said is spot on. I wouldn't set the controller to spray too low in the RPMs because you'll just spin.
I am adding N2O to my vette and I am going to spray in the mid-range and up. I can't hook the almost 900 lb of torque around 3000 rpms as it is. You could also swap to a TVS2650. They are producing around +130whp, on average, than the 2300 at lower blower speeds, therefore lower IATs. Or get both - 2650 and N2O. That is what all the cool kids are doing (I am a cool kid) |
