i think i bought a lemon! what would you do?

Well the first thing that happened was my passenger seat wouldnt move back and forth so i had to send it back. Now my back floorboard is filled with water. found out water is leaking in from my sunroof something about the drainage hoses from the sunroof are stopped up. What would ya'll do? i mean they are vaccuming the water out and drying it and all.. but i didnt buy a brand new car to have problems!!! and i love it too much to get rid of it!

Doesnt hurt to ask them for a new car, but if you havent met the lemon law points for your state they probably wont do anything other than 'fix' the issues as you report them.

Wow, it would take ALOT more than that for me to even begin to think lemon law. I've always been one to understand stuff happens, and as long as someone is working with me in good faith, then I will be patient.

It has to be the same problem repeated a few times, before the lemon law comes into affect

To have gone and spent all that money on a brand new car and have all those problems would make me real mad. I'd get another one.

I would take it and either sell it privately for what you paid for trade it for another one.

If this is all that happened and both got fixed, it won't fall under the lemon law.

Sorry to hear your having problems! Nothing worse than plunking down a whole bunch of hard earned doe for a car that gives you grief! I would let the dealer fix these 2 problems and then see if anything else creeps up. Every manufacturer who gives a warranty does so incase of wierd problems like these. My SS had a problem with the drivers window and I had to bring it in 3 times before they fixed it. Once you get through these problems you will forget about it and learn to really love this car, I know I do!!!!

Warranty, warranty, warranty. Use it, that's what it's for. I don't see any thing big going with your car. Make sure you document everything that is a problem. You are a long way off from having a lemon.

Yea, I hear ya, that IS a big problem. Let them fix it and if you have continuing problems insist on returning it or pursue the lemon law!
