Questuons about 15" conversion with 1.4" lowering springs

When installing a 15" conversion onto a lowered car (1.4" lowering springs), Ive read the car will sit high afterwards. Is this true?

Also, what extra materials or actions are needed to install the lower control arms onto a lowered car?

Also the car is a 2011 SS. Thanks everyone!

True. I've got the BMR 15" kit and the rear sits just slightly above stock height on the Strange coilovers.

Thanks for the question. I just need the lower control arms and the brake rotors/calipers, so I suppose it would be either BMR or Carlyle, depending on who's I can get a hold of. What difference is there between the two? Thanks!

They are similar, but I like BMR's quality and completeness. They're really designed for the coilovers to fit perfectly. In my case, I did a bit of mix and match. All BMR suspension but with the Carlyle brake kit. Fits great and totally changes the way the car behaves on launch.

Thanks man. When you say coilovers, is that the drag race suspension setup that requires you to have different LCAs?

Yessir. Specifically the Strange coilovers that BMR offers with their drag suspension kit.

Roger. I dont want to spend the money but I also dont want to do a 17" that I will have to change in the future. Id rather just do it full send the first time. Even if I'm pushing 500whp for the foreseeable future.
