Halltech to develop a one piece Carbon Fiber Stinger for the Magnuson TVS2300 SC

We have finished a prototype fixture for an all new mold for the Halltech Carbon Fiber Stinger™ CAI designed exclusively for Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger on the LS3 motor.

We actually took a time machine back to the year 2000 and used one of our TRIC™ intake systems, with its S type compound bend combined with our CF elbow and sent it to one of our customers. He will do the initial testing on the final product. His dyno numbers with our two piece design were spectacular, shown below:

Dyno testing by Nickey Chicago reported a 22 RWHP increase swapping the OEM airbox for the Halltech Carbon Fiber Yellow Jacket™. Stefano, needless to say, was impressed.

Our plastic Yellow Jacket fits the SC setup, but we are not happy with the fitment which explains the redesign for the Maggie.

Nickey was using a two piece design that allow our Hornet™ 102mm MAF housing with its short insertion meter design for the ultimate flow numbers, but the new design will eliminate the need for the additional cost of the Hornet™ MAF.

Our carbon fiber shop is the shop that makes all the Pratt and Miller C6.R and C6.RS body panels, intakes and heat shields for Halltech, custom spoilers and splitters for Katech Performance, and now the Corvette Racing GT2 body parts. Talk about name dropping.

Pricing is going to be sweet. We are going to sell the first 10 at $100 over our cost, just to help pay for the mold.

The mold should be finished by the end of the month, with new parts coming out the week after that.

Pictures then. This is our two piece unit designed without the Halltech MAF.

Gotta love that hood! I just noticed the ventage coming from the scoop. It delivers cold ram air right to the filter! Great idea.

How about some birds-eye views of it?

Thanks for the Kudos Rich!

Have you tried the NW 102mm Throttle Body yet?

5 to 6 more RWHP. Our Z06 Dyno with a mild cam and 13:1 CR and E85:

Since this dyno we have installed the 102mm TB, the next generation Killer Bee called a Super Bee intake, tuning by Jim Hall, and installed a few other goodies. 660 HP

We have not had the chance to try/test it out yet. Soon..........very soon.

BTW, we have designed all of our Ram Air hoods to work with the TVS2300
