New to the forum

Hi to everyone,
After searching through a few posts, I have a few questions, please pardon my ignorance.
First what is an ABM camaro?
Secondly, I've seen new camaro's with a single stripe and a double stripe, just wondering how I could get the double stripe, similar to the first gen. Z-28's? I am soon to be ordering a 2SS, manual shift with the RS package. I'm thinking the silver metallic with black stripes, but I don't care for the single stripe. Also, are the black stripes a flat black or a gloss black?
I used to own a '68 SS before I got married and LOVED it.
Thanks in advance to all who reply.
Can't wait to once again have a camaro!!!
Cheers,
Kev

Welcome to the site. The black rallys from the factory are vinyl and a matte finish. If you want a gloss black, spend a little more and have a body shop paint them on for you. Only about $500 to $700 more than the factory option, but much more durable. That said, vinyl can be removed, so make sure you like the color/layout of the stripes before you commit to paint.
