Whistling Sideview Mirror

Does anyone else's side-view mirror whistle at slow to moderate (under 50mph) speeds? Just curious.

I had a slight whistle/tap on my passenger side (2LS) during freeway speeds. Sounded like mirror area but it turned out to be a crack in passenger side splash guard.

Yes I get a little whistle sound around the same speeds. This question was posed several years ago on Camaro5 and most reported having this same sound; it is created by the side view mirrors.

Its what happens when you get close to the speed of sound the wings start to whistle, all you have to do is brake mach 1 for the sound to go away.

P.S. so i am a smart A$$, with all the BS in the world today some one has to do it.

Doesn't bug me, BUT -- I do get tired of having to address it with folks who come along for rides. I always drive with the driver's window down. Guess I just have to take folks on faster rides.

Pull the fuse or put some headers on it.

That's just the flux capacitor warming up, wait till you hit 88 mph, you're in for a treat!

None here. I'm still on the Trofeo's though and have the exhaust fuse pulled.
