Does anybody know the top speed of a stock 98 v6 without the limiter? also, maybe with an ecu tune.

that doesnt help, i was just curious because my buddy has a Golf and since its an import, it has only a rev limiter, and i just wanted to know how fast mine would go without a limiter

Ive done the full 120 with the limiter on a 2001 3.8L

mine gets to 118 pretty easily, thing is i dont think much is left after that.
but thats where mine limits, so i dont know any more than that

hi,
i am living in the Netherlands (Europe) and have an 2001 3.8V6 European Camaro.
i removed the speed limiter with the hypertech 320002.
my fastest ride sofar is 205 km/h (128 miles/h), and i think this is not the end.

I replaced my shocks with adjustable koni's and i replaced my swaybars with SS-ones (32mm and 19mm).
the orginal tires are replaced with Cooper Zeon 2XS 245/50/ZR16.

hey man i have an 01 3.8 as well and honestly ive reached 130 on the freeway idk how much more it can giveim pretty sure alot more but thats top ive got so far

hi,

You must reset the speed limiter, i have done it with the Hypertech 32002.

question: i have the stock exhaust on mine 3.8V6 Camaro 2001.
does someone have a picture and a partnumber for the factory SLP dual-exhaust option ?

I am living in the Netherlands, and it's very difficult to get some info about those parts.

i have the single exhaust, i had read somewhere, if you got the SLP exhaust option for the 3.8V6, you got 5 extra HP.

does some have a picture, what this SLP exhaust option for the 3.8V6 look like ?
