Spyder Black LED Tail Lights bulb replacement
I purchased these cool led tail lights for like $40 when I went to go buy a fender from some guy on facebook. 3 months later and my car says "check left rear turn signal lamp". From my knowledge, it means I have to replace the bulb, correct?

LEDs have a lower voltage draw than normal bulbs. Your car thinks they are burned out. You need resistors to prevent the false negative.

Ok, so where can I buy a resistor and what exactly am I looking for when I go there?
Sorry btw, I am pretty clueless when it comes to anything to do with electrical components |

If you don't care about the message, do not buy resisters. Walmart sells them though.
They wire in parallel. I don't care about the warning... The whole point for LEDs is lower power consumption. When you add load resisters, you're bringing the amp load back up to incandescent levels. If I ever have to use load resisters to get LEDs to work, then I won't use LEDs. If you need to have the messages go away, then buy them. They wire in like another bulb would, so you connect one side to + and the other side to -. They're not polarized, so that won't matter which way the resister faces. |

the whole left side is blinking rapidly. would I need to install resistors on both lights on the left therefore needing to install resistors on both tail lights on the right? also, is it vehicle specific?

these are the connections to the fast blinking side (driver side). my questions are, is the outer or inner side the side where i add the resistor too? or both? also, which sets of cables do I add it too?
