CHEVROLET TRACK ALIGNMENT PDF?
Does anyone have a pdf copy of the original track alignment tips/suggestions/settings for the 13-15 1LE? I saved one for the Z/28 but I haven't seen one for the 1LE. Looking for alignment settings for an unmodified car with stock Goodyears. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the old Pedders info? I think I have that somewhere.

The link to the GM specs is now defunct. Here’s the pedders and pfadt track specs:
https://www.camaro5.com/forums/attac...8&d=1410280290 And here’s the GM text for the Z28: 3. ADJUST THE FOUR CORNERS TIRE AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT (OWNER’S MANUAL: 9-10) The summer-only tires on Camaro Z/28 require inflation and pressure adjustment when driving at high speeds on a track (where legal). • Limit the vehicle load to the driver only with no other cargo and inflate the tires to at least 26 psi (180 kPa) Camaro Z/28 wheel alignment settings can be set as follows for increased handling and performance: FRONT • Remove the spring spacers from the front suspension and place them in the glove box. If the car is to be on a trailer for any reason, the spacers need to be placed back in the front springs to obtain ground clearance • Caster: 5.9 +/- 0.50 degrees • Camber: -1.5 +/- 0.50 degrees • Total or Sum Toe: 0.1 +/- 0.20 degrees REAR • Camber: -1 +/- 0.50 degrees • Total or Sum Toe: 0.1 +/- 0.20 degrees • Thrust Angle: 0 +/- 0.20 degrees |

Do you guys have any experience or feedback using peddlers specs for the track ? I've got a 14 1LE that I plan taking on to the track next month and I just ordered tires and want to get it aligned. Suspension is stock. Is -1.5 neg front camber about the max you can get or is that the desired amount ? Thanks

So for us old guys that don't track the car and only run on the street , what the best overall alignment specs for good tire wear ?

Thanks for the input. So are you running - .75 camber for the rear and .1 toe in on all 4 corners ?

If I recall front camber of -1 to -1.25 would be a good target for improved handling on the street without being overly aggressive on tire wear. Rear camber rule of thumb is half of the front camber. So rear camber would be around -.5. Rear toe I believe was recommended to be .12 toe IN each side for a total of .24 toe IN. Front toe should be set at 0 each side for the street. Toe in or out on the front on the street will probably wear your tires faster than the camber will. So for tire wear the Toe is probably most critical on the street.

Here's the factory 1LE alignment settings. When I did some suspension upgrades, I had my local shop aligned to this. It came from a previous Camaro5 thread on alignment. My tread wear is very even.
