14-15 ss Whipple supercharger hood vent
Hi, so I have been doing some research related to Whipple vs Magnuson superchargers, and I am leaning towards Whipple, but since it is bigger, I know there are problems trying to fit it under the hood.
I would like to hear the people that have 14-15 Camaro ss with Whipple about their experience with the hood vent. Whipple themselves sells a "Carbon Fiber Hood vent" but looks like water can get into the engine bay easily. Any experience shared will be much appreciated. |

I have Detroit Speed motor mounts that lowered the engine, got rid of the drip tray, and still had to grind the stock vent to clear the Whipple. I also have the ACS hood vent but didn't care for it.

Sounds like trying to fit a whipple is gonna be a huge pain... Thanks for the reply. I’m gonna have to do more research on it |

This is the other hood vent I have. No clearance issues due to no drip tray and everything above the hood. I just preferred the look of the original.
