What have you done to install Apple Car Play in your 5th generation Camaro?

I drive a 2013 Camaro 2SS with automatic transmission. This model is equipped with a built in 7" touch screen and Heads Up Display. For some time now I've been wanting to have Apple CarPlay, and researched a couple of alternatives to do so. Please find the list below along with pros and cons.

Before pulling the trigger, I want to know what other people have done. I want the solution to look good (have no added buttons or other hardware that will be visible such as a microphone), be compatible with the factory HUD and mic. (show navigation prompts - this is the last of my concerns, but still on my wish list), be wireless so that my phone is not required to be plugged in, and be cost effective.

Pros: inexpensive
Cons: reduces screen size, adds additional buttons
MVI at gm-navigation.com
Cons: most expensive alternative, have to plug in phone, have to add external mic.

Pros: price is in the middle of the two
Cons: may need to have external buttons mounted to console
