Having hard time choosing between Loudmouth or Loudmouth II

I have listen to video after video and cant decide on loudmouth or loudmouth II for my automatic SS. I like the deep tones of the loudmouth but wondering if the sound files Im hearing on the Loudmouth II are not doing it justice.

Also wondering how this setup will sound on the automatic. On videos I have seen not really stating auto or manual. Im thinking large portion manual.

Anyone help with the pros and cons....Do you get more drone with the loudmouth than loudmouth II

Thanks for the help and wanting to put my order in on Monday

Well, I don't know how much help I will be but I just installed the Loudmouth II on my LS3 today. I love the sound, very clean and crisp and it lets you know it is there. Mild resonance in 6th as expected but not troublesome at all.

For you, I'm afraid w/ the automatic that the Loudmouth I will give you way too much resonance when the car is in 6th - that is just my opinion but for me the Loudmouth II is perfect. Great, great sound!

I loved my LMI on my last Camaro. I know that the flowmaster catback with ARH headers on these cars still isn't as loud as I would have expected. Hope that helps.

I did the muffler delete on my LS3 (essentially the same as the Loudmouth 1) and I loved the sound. However, it was way too loud after installing headers. So, if you are thinking about doing headers down the road, you may want to go with the Loudmouth 2.

Are you planning on getting your AFM (DOD) detleted?
Also are you planning on getting headers later on?

Because you have an L99 A6, you'll need to get your AFM deleted (DOD) if you get the Loudmouth 1. If you don't you'll get a very noticeable 4 cylinder noise that doesn't sound good.

Also, if you plan on getting headers later on, the Loudmouth 1 setup will be explosively loud (some like that, many do not). A lot of the guys that purchased loudmouth 1 (muffler delete) got a different exhaust after getting headers because it was too loud.

But if you just want a louder exhaust and don't plan on adding headers, the Loudmouth 1 might be the right choice. But remember you'll want to get your car tuned to get rid of the AFM noises.
