The annual Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, AZ is coming up January 18th - 24th. The biggest day will be Saturday January 23rd. It was at the auction last year that I saw the 2010 Camaro in person for the first time and totally fell in love with it...my order was placed a few weeks later. I expect that GM and Camaro will have a pretty large presence this year and hopefully a lot of the new accessories and one off custom cars will be there (fingers crossed that Jay Leno's Camaro will be there).

Is anyone planning on going? Post the date if you are. I will be there on Saturday January 23rd.

I work right next to westworld which is where the barrett jackson auction is. I go every year....kinda cool...last year they parked all of the sold cars in my companies parking garage...i was drooling over some ford GT's there...nice. I will be there..on the 23rd as well.

I am hoping to make it! I have not been able to get there since I moved to AZ 2 years ago. If I can make it...it would be on the 23rd also!

Are there any other auctions in the area that week.? We may fly down and rent a car for a week or so and wondered if there are more car auctions the week before or week after BJ?
