The more the car is the more it's going to be. So the 2SS insurance will be higher than the 1SS.

Sorry but insurance companies do not distinguish between trims, just the engine. Go to your insurance company and ask for a quote on a LS and a 2LT if you don't believe me, they will be the same.

Insurance varies, for each individual. You must take into account the following factors

1 - Engine
2 - Age
3- male or female
4- House, rental, living with parents
5- married / single
6- kids
7- DRIVING RECORD

These are just some of the basic things that insurance companies look at.

Basically if you fall underneath the following:

SS, Under 25, Male, living at home = $$$

and yes the LT will be much cheaper than the V8.

everyones insurance will be different based on you area or state you live in. you cant compare one persons insurance to another there are too many variables. the v6 will always be cheaper than the V8

Sikmaro is right. For example my insurance went up an extra 8.00 a month. I called USAA and asked why this happened (I have a flawless driving record, 31yrs, excellent credit, so why should my insurance go up right?) They told me that NC along with a few other states the rates went up a few more dollars.

State Farm is charging me $106 more per year than the 2005 Aveo I traded in for my new LS. Definitely worth it.

Insurance also varies by ZIP code. I had an insurance rate increase a few years ago for my ZIP. It's a pretty rural ZIP code, so I never figured that one out. Just another way to make money.

If you have USAA then you might want to call Geico and get a quote. Geico quoted me half as much as USAA. I'm now a happy Geico customer.

Wow you guys get great rates. I live in Las Vegas and the cheapest I have found was Geico for 302 a MONTH lol. No accidents, no tickets in 5 years. Single and 23?
