Hi,
Anyone who removed a good drivers side rear strut when they upgraded?
I have a leaking one that needs replacing ( car is lowered so Chevrolet will not honor the warrenty). I will buy the pair if no one has a single to sell.

Wait... if they can prove that you lowering the car caused this, then that sucks, but if they can't it should be replaced. THe burden of proof is on them in CA.

What was funny was the last strut I needed to remove for my DSE suspension kit was the one that was leaking. It was too much trouble to remove and replace the ones already done to return the car to stock. My car had about 1k miles when I changed the sways and springs.

Brought the car into the dealership and showed them the leaking strut. The service manager noted that the car was lowered, and stated that since the suspension was modified, the shocks were no longeer covered under warranty.

So, I guess that I would have a harder time proving that the strut was leaking from a manufactoring defect as opposed to the suspension modifications.
