Which options to order on a 2021 LT1?
Trying to narrow down exactly which options are worth it on a LT1. Here’s where I’m at..
Riverside blue LT1 with 6 speed manual RS package Sunroof Recaros Technology package Red calipers 5 split wheels Since the 20” inch wheels come with the LT1 trim, the RS package seems a little pricey for just some cosmetic trim, but I do think it looks much better. I test drove an LT1 with the dual mode exhaust and I thought it sounded great but just a little too loud on sport and too quiet on touring. Is the standard exhaust a happy medium? How different is the quality of the sound? Is the suede steering wheel or shift knob worth it? Any other must have options? Thanks in advance. |

I would get the 2SS option. It adds a lot of useless but very nice stuff
Seriously though, The guy above me can answer better but I have seen that suede wear pretty bad on vehicles. Especially daily use vehicles. |

Standard exhaust sounds like nothing. Optioning up an LT1 like that makes me wonder why you don’t just get an SS.
Alcantara/suede will look like sh1t sooner than later. If I went LT1, would be zero options and get it for about $32k tops. Otherwise 1SS all the way.

I can agree about the RS package and it being too costly on the LT1 trim....looking at the Canadian build site I added the “satin black appearance package” and it gives me the spoiler with black accent as well as the side mirrors black as well for 290 dollars. Also there is no LT1 RS..... meaning you get no RS badge up front...very little value IMO......My must haves are the NPP and the 8 inch tech package.....

In my honest opinion if you are looking for all those options then a 1SS 1LE might be your best bet! By the time you add all those options up in cost then you could buy a 1SS 1LE. You can upgrade the info system with the optional Nav which would get what you want but for the money you would be better off with the 1LE 1SS.

The Recaro seats are excellent and the micro suede on the steering wheel and shifter knob require cleaning but that’s it.

Most important for me were NPP, sunroof and the technology package. Painted calipers aren't worth it on the LT1. Only the front Brembos come painted.

Those options you already have are necessities, if you want more then I'd say go for an SS trim.
But, if you still want to stick with the LT1. I'd buy the car, and get aftermarket items like the Rear Camera Mirror. Aftermarket options are often better than OEM when it comes to the LT1. A10 is required for the sueded stuff. Car is quieter without NPP. Best of luck!

Correct me if I'm wrong but, the whole point of the LT1 trim is to be minimalist. It would be counterintuitive to add a bunch of seemingly luxury components to that trim. Perhaps consider a 1SS or 2SS instead?

I got the sunroof, NPP, Recaros, and the tech pack. Very happy with all of it.
As someone else said, the rear calipers won't come painted. (Ask Fraxum)

Like others have said. if you want bells and whistles go for the SS. I went for the LT1 for simplicity sake. Only technology I want is Power windows...lol because I'm a lazy shit. Less tech=less problems/less weight more speed/more better...
