2014 Camaro SS service power steering

I have a turbo charged 2014 Camaro SS. Changed the AC line on Saturday. Doing so, I unplugged the electrical power steering. Now I get a service power steering message and have no power steering. Any one ever run into this or know a fix for it? I really don't feel like spending 1100 on a new rack & pinion. I can not find any eps motor. Car only has 25,000 miles.

Check the connection you plugged/unplugged. Maybe bent a prong? Disconnect the battery. See if it will reset..good luck

Ran codes with a different scanner. Got a code for the Steering Torque sensor. GM does not fix internal rack and pinion problems. I a. Going to be dropping rack & pinion to check the connector going to the steering torque sensor. I will keep posted.
