In the process of installing the 2020 bumper cover on my 2019, I realize now I have no bow tie. I always preferred the gold bow tie anyways, and I really like the illuminated bow ties on the 2016-18 models.

I see for 2019-21 they have the black illuminated bow tie, but is there a gold illuminated tie? If not, will the gold illuminated accessory from the 2016-18 fit on the 2019-up?

I'm looking for specific info on what will and won't work, including GM part numbers for everything I need and installation procedure.

Loved the 2016-18 front end, was ready to buy a new Camaro in 2019 when they came out with that hideous front end I hated it. Then I saw GM learned their lesson and fixed it for 2020.

I had a 2020 on order, deal fell through, found a brand new 2019 in Missouri equipped exactly how I wanted, got a great deal, still hated the all black '19 bumper cover and open "flow tie". Got the 2020 bumper cover, had it painted and installed.

Now I need the bow tie!

Thanks! However, one thing in the description I just need to verify. It says:

"2019-20, without rs package, without perf pkg, gold."

The SS as I understand it has the RS package, or performance package, correct? Will this only fit the base Camaro grille or will it fit the SS grille?

I'm just making sure before I order it.

They have always done me good. When I plug it into there website is says it will fit a SS so it is very misleading. I would just call them and ask.

EDIT: IIRC they check it against your vin.

Make sure it is for a 2020. The 2016-18 plug in to a different harness. I used the black one but I absolutely love it

As I understand it the 2016-18s have a completely different grille with different slats and pattern, and the bowties for each aren't even interchangable.

Not sure. The bowtie sits on a bracket. The bracket is what actually goes on grille but I am not sure if its the same as 16 to 18

That's the "side" parts business of Eagle Chevrolet in Riverhead. They are ~25 miles east of me. Good folks for sure and agree likely can help you out, give them a call.
