Stock SS Pump with Aux Kit?

Anyone run a stock SS fuel pump with an SMG or DSX aux kit? I have a '14 SS w/ manual trans and boltons and I'm considering the ESS sc kit with a GPI cam. I'm estimating to be anywhere from 600 to 675 rwhp with the blower and cam. I'd be happy at that power level and could see maybe trying to push to 750ish in the future but that would be the max I'd be comfortable with on the stock block before going forged.

I'm kind of stuck with fuel. Not really a fan of the idea of doing all the work to swap in a ZL1 pump just to have it on the brink of being maxed out, and not really a fan of going all out and dropping major coin on a Fore or Squash kit which I think would be way overkill. Doesn't seem like there's many fueling options between the ZL1 and Fore/Squash.

Seems like there are a lot of guys with the ZL1 pump + aux kit with over 1k wheel hp, so if an SS pump + aux would cover 650 up to 750-800 that would be the sweet spot for me.

Forgive me if this has been answered but I've been searching and emailing people for the last couple months and haven't found an answer to this specific question.

I haven’t seen nor read a 1000whp camaro using ZL1 pump/aux kit. Unless I’m not looking, but I did the same song and dance b4.

Do it right the first time.

There isn't anything between a ZL1 pump with an auxiliary and a full system. I have been going back and forth with figuring out what I want to do. I even bought a new aftermarket CTS-V pump with the thought of using it as is or upgrading the pumps. There are a couple of companies supposedly working on drop ins but development seems slow and I'm losing faith as our cars get older.

I've got the ZL1 pump and putting in the aux this week. Don't forget about your injectors.

I know its dumb for me to be complaining about costs, especially after all the money I've already spent, but I cant say anything bad about someone trying to find a cheaper way to fuel these cars. Paying $2500-3000 just for a fuel system, minus the injectors mind you, sucks in a way I cant put into words here lol

I agree it’s a lot to spend on just fuel alone. But without that fuel you can’t have the power. Wish there was a cheap way to do it so you can spend the money and other go faster parts.

Stealth pump supports over 1k hp but haven’t heard anyone using it

Check out AGP Turbo. A few years ago, I bought their twin pump setup and flex fuel kit for $1800. Probably the cheapest way to get a fuel system that will support 1000rwhp.

I see ZL1 pump and DSX aux pump support well over 800whp all the time. And it's still cheaper than a dual or triple pump. Plan on spending at least 2k if you go dual or triple once your done with fittings and lines. I priced up the aeroforce stealth for mine and it was over 2k. Meanwhile the aux pump will be fine for my needs and still leave me a bit of growth room.

I have their twin pump, running 93, 850cc injectors and still have a ton of room to grow. Made a little over 600rwhp, 7.5 psi, max 55% duty cycle. Comes with everything to install, no additional parts needed.

Fuel system is one of those "buy once, cry once" things.

Appreciate any and all feedback. Maybe I misread what I thought was 1k hp Camaros with ZL1 + aux. I've been doing so much searching and reading my brain is a bit fried.

Get the ZL1 pump, DSX aux pump and call it a day. If you need to drop in a dual or triple pump in the future, you can flip the DSX & ZL1 pump later down the road.

ZL1 pump 100$
