I bought a new aftermarket CTS-V fuel pump but not sure if I'm going to use it.

I bought a Spectra Premium SP6623M from Rock Auto. It doesn't look like it's available from them anymore but they were about $750, compared to $1000 for OEM. I'd take $650 for it.

Some of the early twin pump kits that came out where just that; CTSV pumps and reflashed truck FPCM. My car has had the Lingenfelter version for 165k miles or so. I've replaced the pump once about a year ago only because the fuel line connection cracked.

Yeah that’s ultimately what I’m looking for is the dual pump but I’m just not 100% sure why years those were offered or what model number that was.

You need one from a 2nd gen CTS-V, which I think is 2009-2015. That's why I bought what I did. But for my power level, I would still need to swap in different pumps and possibly other mods.

Nope, the pumps are PWM just like ours. The best I can tell, the only mods would be a fitting adapter for the cross tank pickup, attaching and wiring a fuel level sensor, and possibly trimming the tab for the lock ring to fit.

In my case, I would also need larger drop-in pumps and likely a vaporworx control unit.
