2010 Camaro Pre-Painted Engine Oil Dip Stick

If you've ever opened your hood chances are the first thing you notice is that YELLOW dipstick handle. These dipsticks are custom painted to match your exterior body color. Each handle is painted and polished to a glossy smooth finish. Now you can have a matching dipstick to go with the rest of your under hood painted parts.

I wish the metal was not black.... way to hard to read for my poor eyes.

I think that the black on the dipstick is just a coating. You may be able to remove some of it down by where you take your readings and expose the bare steel to make it easier to see.
