Best head intake option
Current just a gpi ss4nfc in a l99 but planning on buying a 416 block and going centri. But really want to do heads intake before all of that and would like to know the better choice..
Looking into a used Maxx effort set from gpi (don't know price yet), prc 260, trickflow 255 or just stock ported heads Intake will either be xod1x or stock ported, or ls7 |

I have the gpi max kit and i will vouch for their heads. They are a work of art and are massive. They flow

The max package was complete. Everything you need to do the entire top. Cam, intake, heads, lifters, gaskets, bolts ect. Its not cheap, but it makes power and sounds amazing!

That what I was really thinking about but don't have the funds to go centri yet. At least not a new kit plus fueling. Was probably going to stay in na for a while since I'm in the process for moving too

Whats the heads cam intake kit going to cost? Can't be too much less than a supercharger. As far as fueling get good injectors, $1000 and you will get away with just a voltage booster or a ZL1 pump to get you more power than the heads//cam kit will get you. You can wait to upgrade that later. Of course do what you like to do, but bang for your buck FI is the way to go. I can tune on 100 octane for 800whp on a PD. Where I am at now is about all I want though, for the street. Stock heads except for the spring upgrade when I did the cam. I was at 600WHP with just the whipple and ZL1 pump with 1050 injectors..
