Weird click sound has me nervous

Hey Guys,

So I've been driving the car more since the weather is getting better and I've only been going to the office instead of the city. I noticed I have a "click" sound when I take off and if I stay in 1st and let off with a little bounce it almost clicks back. If I take off very softly I don't notice it but normal take offs from a light or stop sign its doing it. It seems to me its on the passenger side sort of middle of car. I checked my lugs, all tight. What should i start checking next? The car drives absolutely fine but the click has me nervous since I have a track event a few weeks away...

Before anyone says it, im gonna try to get a video at some point soon

Morning everyone. I have a 2011 r/s LT2 which had a clicking sound and my mechanic found the source. A exhaust leak on the manifold .

I appreciate the input but this isn't an exhaust leak. I know an exhaust leak sound, and it would also be constant. It only does it under movement. I can rev all day long sitting still with no click

First thought would be a u joint.
Block the front tires, jack up the rear, put it in neutral and spin the tires by hand.

We have a lift at work for our fleet vehicles. I'm gonna throw it up on the lift after work and check the ujoints, axles, etc... of course once I just took it over to our mechanic so he could hear it, it didn't do it but he still agreed that we can throw it up on the lift and take a look. He's gonna look at my car and im gonna polish out a scuff on the bumper on his mustang

sounds like worn bushings in the control arms, trailing arms for diff bushings, something suspension related. typically CV's will make a constant click under load. If it's just one click or clunk then clunks back when you let off I lean heavily to suspension, or even exhaust moving around maybe.

its definitely not constant. I mean my car is loud but im pretty sure id still notice it. Its only when I lean into it or let off, and not every time.

There was a TSB for a clicking in the rear end
Boiled down to Washers behind the nut on the Hub
PQ did a fix on it years back

It does have to do with the rear drive line. My V6 did it, till I replaced the
wheel bearings, and it stopped. The axle nut may need tweaked a little tighter.
They're close to 200 ft-lbs, you can air tool those on. The bearings are orbitally
formed, and they do not have a pre-load tightening method. I replaced mine last
year, aired them off, and aired them back on. The ones that get a pre-load are
the kind that go on a pinion, these ones do not. I put them on in March 2020,
at 140,674 miles. I am over 215,000 now.

I completely forgot about this bulletin 09-04-95-001D. It is the one they mention above. There are washers you can add onto the CV shaft behind the hub. part #20825083 with nut part #13217120. It applies to Camaros built prior to 6/1/09

If it is the above listed bulletin it is just a noise, it won't hurt anything.
