C8 Wheels fitment on 2010 SS
I have an chance to purchase a set of 2020 Corvette wheels to replace the stock 20's on my wife's 2010 SS. Has anyone put these on a 5th gen?

I don't know if anyone has done it but I did notice that the C8 wheels are designed around their calipers so offsets might be an issue.

If anyone’s looking for info, I’m gonna gravedig this topic thread. Lol And the answer is YES, the C8 Corvette factory wheels should fit; but only with the factory tire sizes that they came with. I am currently trying to run the staggered C8 Corvette Stingray OEM factory staggered wheels, with a slightly larger sidewall.
I pondered the idea of acquiring an additional identical set of C8 Corvette wheels, just to make some squared wheel and tire setups out of them. However, the front wheels are 19 x 8.5”, with a +52 offset, so they’re not all that impressive… And with the rear wheels being 20 x 11”, with a +64 offset, I could only dream about running that on a stock front wheel setup. Wheel spacers might have to be involved, and I’m not into those. I simply wanted to run a tire setup on the C8 factory wheels, that would be similar in proportion to my factory Camaro SS/V8 factory wheels. I’m planning to run the C8 Stingray wheels, with 245/40R19’s in the front and 305/35R20’s in the rear. My concern is if they contact the suspension (shocks, struts). I’m still on the fully stock suspension, so I’m not lowered and worried about much else aside from that. |

So I just went through this because I saw on reddit that they fit.
They CAN fit, but is it worth it... You'll need a 7/16 spacer for the back so you don't rub the inner fender liner You need to move the ebrake cables so the wheel doesn't rub them You need to buy the ARP 3 inch wheel studs so you can use the 7/16 spacer Up front they fit but I am using 5/16 spacers and you need to replace the front tires to 245/45/19 as the stock ones are too tiny. After all that the tires are still an inch shorter than the stock SS tires so ill be doing a 1 inch lowering kit to make it not look like a 4x4. |
