My neighbor...
My good neighbor, across the way, just informed me his new car is here. Says he’s having a “special” stripe put on it and then he will pick it up... oh what could it be... think he’s 77 or so...
2022 Red Mist vert Corvette! Not sure on the options but, somewhere near 85k. Can’t wait for a ride! He kept it a secret until it was actually ready to pick up. Didn’t want to “disappoint” anyone if something went awry. Happy to see the big smile on his face!

Aint that the truth. By the time I’m 77 we’ll probably all be flying around like the jetsons though…

My Corvette racing mentor is 74 and is a very aggressive HPDE guy. One of his cohorts is 83 and drives his C7 like there's no tomorrow! If it's in your DNA it never leaves.

Wow that's pretty cool!! Most of my "older" car guys I know, and I say that because they are older than me, 64, have went and bought a C8 for their toy!! One of them has already had his engine expire on him, but he got it fixed. Something about a rod going bad in it.

We used to get something in school in the early 60’s called the, “Weekly Reader” that said we’d be flying in cars by the 80’s.

Man, those book fairs we're awesome! Started my love of reading. This house catches on fire and the ammo detonation will send flaming books over most of central Texas.

I just hope I'm still coordinated enough to operate the clutch at 77.
