Question Hmmmm. Audi insider claims the R8 V10 will beat the ZR1 around the 'Ring

I dont really think its possible for the R8 V10 to beat the ZR1 around the 'Ring though Audi insiders sound pretty confindent. Here are 2 big reasons why I dont think its possible....

1) The R8 is expected to have 500-520hp compared with the ZR1's massive 638hp

2) The weight of the R8 V10 will rise to about 3600lbs compared with the ZR1's 3350lbs

So what do you think? Can the R8 V10 really beat the might ZR1?

They have something, They wouldn't be this confident like that unless they did something

Also Heard a rumor that, SRT is bringing the Viper ACR up to the ring in a month or two, battle of the V10's

Let the wars begin

Too bad the viper is getting the axe.

How many times do I have to mention, however, that the new Audi v10 will have 700+ ft/lbs of torque.

Must be, that is really disappointing, because they did say they had plans to use it. Damn automakers and their science projects.
