Camaro LT Axle Nuts?
I'm looking to replace my wheel hub assemblies and need to find out what axle nuts I can use, preferably from a local place like Autozone, Nappa, or Advanced auto. Someplace that can get them in stock within the next 2 or 3 days whereas were I to buy the OEM nuts (11611687), fastest shipping to me seems to be around the 10th of this month.
If I have to go with the OEM nuts, then that is what I'll do, but I'd like to see what else works out there that is more readily available. The car is a V6 Automatic, LT. |

I had a loud tick from the rear left on one of my vettes at the track a couple years ago. Long story short, OEM is your answer. And you’ll need a torque wrench. If I remember correctly, the vette was 184lb ft. Sorry, not sure the camaro ft lbs

You might try just stopping in at your local GM dealership. They can usually get parts the next day. It's worked for me in the past. Not sure about the LT axle nut but on the SS the torque spec is 199 ft./lb. and can be a real bitch to remove.
