PVD Black Chrome Wheels....Sweet

Is anyone familiar with these wheels? I'm about ready to put my black LT up on blocks to install coils, sway bars and an exhuast system and these sure look like they'd complete the package.........

These look like the Hyper Black thread and alot better. Feedback is 100% looks like a good deal. I really like the Hyper black thread but looks like a lot of trouble. Souns like a proven process. I may give them a call and feel them out. What about you

This looks really good! Definatly a posibility and the cost is better than buying a hole new set! I like the black chrome! That's the way GM should have done the RS wheels!

I like these a lot, but I think $965.00 is a little steep for simply having coated stock wheels.

FYI
just an FYI... they failed to mention that there is a $1500 core charge upfront because they ship you the wheels then you ship yours back and after inspection of yours, they will credit you back the $1500 if everything checks out... So its quite a bit more expensive up front but the wheels do look pretty sweet...

Ok just to let everyone know US wheel does not do the center caps and to be honest that sucks.
CalChrome does and the ones 6liter posted were done. Also its hard to tell from these photos and I suggest to CalChrome and US Wheel last week when one of our shop guys called to have samples of this finish to send to potential shops and customers. When we order powdercoat samples and we need an approval we always get a 6inch or larger sample. I think this is the best way so people really know what they are getting and can judge quality. Hope one of these vendors can do that for us. |

Hey I just got off the phone with these guys in detroit and I am trying to make arrangements for a group buy. They DO do the center caps. The center caps are not baked with the clear coat though they are matched with a black chrome paint.This is what must be being done with the Hyper Painting . I am ordering these tomorrow.I'll
wrk something out if you guys are interested. He is will ing to make us a special deal and a lower core charge. Also he is allowing me to swap my OEM Rims for the OEM Concept rims found on the HAVOC Camaro Kit. He has about 12 sets of camaro OEM rims and quite a few mor Havoc style rims. He is definitely able to work with us. If you all are interested please let me know. When I get my Black Chrome Havoc 20" Wheels I'll take plenty of pictures. This guy really knows what hes doing. He also had good things to say about the Hyper Process its called the PVD Process also. It is guaranteed for 5 yrs or 100K miles from flaking or chipping |

The HaVOC rims are OEM even your center caps and lugs fit perfectly. he will charge $15 per cap. He does not recommend doing this process on the lugs. What he recommends is painting the lugs a black color
