Ok as many of you guys know my husband & I along with several of our camaro club went down to reno for hot August nights last week.

Well, we drove down made it down to Klamath falls OR with out issues,
then started out on monday heading down towards reno NV. Sweating fire problems, thank god we didnt see any fires except for small ones. but we did see a helocopter filling a bucket so we knew we were close.

Made it down to reno safe, only problem with the buick was the radio stopped working & the temp gage went hay wire for a bit.

Was doing the cruising around part in the buick & several tiems Little Kids would stop us or yell out "MOMMY/DADDY LOOK its BUMBLE BEE"

of course my answer was always No not quite lol. We even had one kid ask us if it will transform for them.

On weds we went out for bunch at one of the casinos farther away, & I had this little boy about my daughters age come running up to the buick. He looks at the front then the rear & Yells at his Dad " Dad they have this car all wrong, wrong grill & its not the right color for the year"

The father & I got to talking & he has a bunch of Buick parts that he is willing to sell me lol I was happy about that.

Then of course I got the "OMG its a GS/GSX or nice looking Chevelle"

Trying to find a parking spot one night to go pick up pictures of the Cruise of Champions I had a couple Secruty(sp) guys on bikes stop in my way & Yell out"watch it before the GS runs you down" I Yelled back "ITS A SKYLARK, NOT A GS" Then beep my horn at the gal that ways walking 1.5 MPH infront of my car. Then one came over after I parked hoping I wasnt upset at them for misiding my car. I told them that hey at least they got the right body style & the right brand. Because earlier that day I got asked if it was a CAMARO. Can you believe that.

I have seen guys get in to aguments about my car. lol. so I am used to it.

Over all we had a fun time. cant wait until next year.

^That's funny. When I drove a prowler in parades I would hear things from people along the side of the road say things like...

"Your grandfather used to have one of those old cars"

"That's one of those 'kit' cars"

So yeah, I can believe that. I bet that was a fun trip.
