Codes? What Do They Mean? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have these codes that have popped up on my 2012 2ss ls3. I don't know what they could be. I have a warrenty but I am just curious as to what could be causing this. These codes popped up and there is no rpm reading on the dash. It says service stabilitrak and engine power reduced. Also the car grinds going into 2nd when it is cold. Even if I let the car warm up for 10 minutes. Please help here are some pictures of the codes. I put the skip shift eliminator on fyi It is working perfectly. Name: IMG_1604.jpg

If you have the Warranty and not sure I guess I would use it, But the First thing I would try is make sure the battery is good and holding a full charge, Just because it starts car doesn't mean it is not failing. Since you have a few different unrelated codes I would assume an electrical issue, Weak battery , Loose /dirty connection. As far as the grinding I would service the trans if it has not been done in a while and see what happens.

^^^^ This..When these batteries on these cars start going bad, funky things start happening..

My 2010 did a couple of sketchy error posts on the dash and after seeing the recommendation here of just put a battery in it I did.

When I went to pick up my new battery I had them load test what seemed to be an OK battery out of my car. Fell flat on its face before he has the test machine turned on good.

At least have your existing battery load tested before digging too deep.

When we checked mine, it too wouldn't hold a load..

Just had this same code on a Avalanche...sure enough found the battery only had 180 cca!
