Water and moisture in Camaro 2011 2SS Trunk Why?

When it rains I am getting water and moisture inside my trunk. I live in Houston, TX and I know there's levels of humidity. I checked the main trunk seal and it appears to be in overall great condition. The only conclusion I can come to terms with is that the trunk has gaps that do not align up correctly with the rest of the rear body of the car. I know the vehicle once was in a small accident before I purchased it. The title is still clean and clear. I just wish I knew how to pin point this problem. Here's some pictures. What could I do to resolve this issue? Is it the weather stripping at the bottom of the rear window? I wonder where I can start looking?

Do you have a sunroof? That’s the number one place that these cars leak from in the trunk typically.

if you have a sunroof, check the drain hose connections under the package tray.

Get in the trunk with a light. Close the trunk and have someone run water from a garden hose over the seams and rear window.

Looks to me like it's the body seam right near that wire harness. Here's a quick trick, dry it out completely. Then sprinkle some baby powder around the seam where you think it might be leaking. Then drive it in the rain and check it. The powder will show you where it's coming from.

Sun roof drains are easy to check. Just reach up behind the hinges & feel around for the rubber hose. You will know immediately.

I had the same issue before, but it instead of light moisture, there was a lot of water in place of where the battery sits. I never figured out the issue as it never happened again, but it could possibly be the connection with the sunroof or, most likely, trunk issues. Check to see if the weather strips are secured and if still an issue, the misalignment of trunk may need to be situated. Good luck!

Can the rubber hose be replaced and does it lead to the trunk or some other run off section on the vehicle?
