narrowed CAI to K & N or TSP

Talked directly to K & N and they said supply is low and not making anymore till February but referred me to a company that had some.
Texas Speed has some of theirs and in stock.
Any thoughts on which way you'd go ?
Thanks.

The question you need to ask YOURSELF is, what drew you to those two. If it's looks, look around all the ones that are close and decide which one you like best. If it's price, look around and see which ones are in your price range AND like the looks of then decide. If you want the best for the $$, look around and see what people are saying about each one, then decide. In the end it's YOU that has to decide which one you want. There are things that make a CAI better than others and most will agree with that. A non insulated metal intake tube isn't the ideal tube to be carrying cold air to your engine since it will be sitting in a HOT engine bay. A sectioned off cold air box will typically give you better IAT's than one that just sits over in the corner. A well radius'd intake tube will help in smoothing out the airflow into the intake tube, thus flow better. A good filter will flow well, yet filter well too. These are a few of the things you need to take into account. Plenty of people have used every type of CAI that's made for this car. Look around and read what they have to say about them. It shouldn't be too hard to make a decision based on those things.

As with everything there are many opinions. IMO, Halltech has everything that makes a great CAI.
