Shorty headers or manifolds with Huron twin kit?
I am switching to the Huron twin turbo kit. I installed the single kit last year. Do you guys see any gains on using a shorty header over the stock manifold? I have to look through my pile of junk for the manifolds or I found some shorties on Jegs for $250.

Top or mid mount? If mid mount, Huron has some great their-brand headers that breath well and handle the turbo weight (stout).

The Huron manifolds look nice on the outside. The set I had were not flow friendly on the inside. This is the head flange, the primary to log junction was even smaller/not matched. You couldn't tell unless you stuck your finger down there.

I can't find the stock manifolds. I can get some Pace Setter shortys for under $300.

you need thick gauge stainless stuff... not sure paceheader fits the bill. check ebay for factory manifolds.

I got some Doug Thorley shorties. They look pretty thick.

Those appear to be the mild steel ceramic coated headers... not stainless unfortunately. The good news is they are 14ga tubes, so nice and thick. Not sure the flange thickness (probably 3/8").
Those should work for awhile.

I have the ARH on mine on the car for a few years now. So far so good. The only issue is that you would need ceramic spark plug wires. Cylinder 4 and 6 will burn up regular spark plug wires pretty quick.
