Static noise from rear speakers at 2500RPMs

Since the weather has turned cold or since the loose nut in my trunk lid was fixed (both happened about the same time), I get loud static going from 1st to second at around 2500 RPMs. Only happens when the car is cold first thing in the AM. After about a mile, the sound can't be reproduced.

BA sound system

Any thoughts?

Ok...this is still happening with the radio at low volumes and the car is hitting around 2500 RPMs. Only happens for the first 2 miles after sitting for several hours.

I have also started getting the "Trunk is Open" warning eventhough the trunk is closed. An open and reclose takes care of it.

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas on what is happening.

Thanks.

Interesting , Is your radio turned off when it does this? I took my new car for a drive in minus 7 c down the higway last night. I here a sound like a rattle in the dash but it does sound like static from the front speaker???

No, the radio is turned on but the volume levels can be anywhere between 1 and up. The louder the volume the louder the static.
