2014 z28 new never registered value

Hello

I'm going to look at a collector 2014 red z28 with less than 500km on it. Still has original tires, the only mod is wickerbill. The car has never been registered/plated, I wonder if there would be a warranty.
Any suggestions on value?

I'm not sure if this car is for me as I do plan to drive it, sparing, not park it in a garage and wait for the value to go up.

Thanks
Bill

my .2 cents for what it is worth. It's your money, and if you buy it, it's your car. Do with it whatever you please. If you wanna buy a high trim level, rare, exceptionally low mile car and drive the hell out of it... then do it! A fair amount of people from what I have seen bought Z28's and exclusively tracked them. Cars are meant to be driven.

I think all of the regular Z/28 criteria apply. Color, A/C (or not) mileage etc. 8 year old tires? Nice novelty item but they need to be replaced. 300 or so miles? Needs proper break-in, hope fluids have been changed on regular basis. Never been registered? I'm sure somebody (probably the owner) thinks this adds value but I personally wouldn't pay more for it. Only warranty would probably need to be purchased from one of those independent companies you see advertised on TV. Good luck and maybe post a few more details about the car.

Buy the best car you can afford. Park it like a giant car model or drive it daily and enjoy. BTW: I drive mine daily.

I think MSRP is good price compared to other enthusiast cars on the market.

No, Chevy is not going to validate warranty on 8-year old car.

Only 1801 produced for two-year run.

Good points, and honestly I've thought about all of them to a certain extent.

Cheers

If you're asking if it would be under manufacturer warranty, then no....its been titled, so the warranty will be expired. Registration is a different animal altogether.
Also, there's nothing wrong with using a Z/28 as a daily driver; I used 2 of them and a ZLE as a daily. They are AWESOME as a daily, but not suited for everyone.

Bill, you didn't say if the car was a A/C car or not. In 2014, there were only 9 red NON A/C cars, and 85 red A/C cars. But the statements above hold true. No warranty left, it will need ALL the fluids changed, it will need new tires, and yes, it will probably bring more than normal on Bring-A-Trailer because there will be two nut-jobs with way too much money wanting the lowest mileage Z they can find for their collection. I drive my 2014 SIM CTF car (1 of 9) about once a month on the street and SCCA SOLO it about 12 times a year.
