Looking for my first car - '13 Ashen Gray 2SS VIN 2G1FK1EJ6D9179323 - in Bowie, MD
I have been watching the VIN on my first car to see if it pops back up for sale. During COVID, I got worried it was sitting in a junkyard as it was last renewed for registration 2+ years in a 2-year state MD. Luckily I see it was registered in Bowie, MD in July 2021.
Mileage hasn't been reported, but it is likely a $15k car by now, so I want to see if I can buy the thing or at minimum chat with the owner, and give him/her information about the start of its life, also to keep in touch. Have you tried doing a carfax? That will give you a location of the last registration and if any repair work has been performed you have the name of a shop you can call and hopefully they can get you in touch with the owner.
