2015 Camaro misfiring
I have a 2015 Camaro that has code 300 random misfiring. I’ve checked with a scanner and they all show misfiring heavy on cylinder 1. If sit with it idling it does not misfire, if I drive it and do a light acceleration it starts misfiring, if do a heavy acceleration it stops misfiring and takes off. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this. All parts are factory.

I would lean towards a bad fuel injector. I'd first try to swap over the ignition parts to a different cyclinder. Spark plug wire and coil. See if the misfire goes to that cylinder.
If that didnt work same thing with the fuel injector. |

Sounds like a bad coil and plug wire to me. Replace the plug, plug wire, and coil in cylinder 1 and that should fix your problem.

Better than that, swap coil, plug, and wire between number 1 and number 3 and see if the misfire moves. If it does you found your problem. If it's a V6 its just the plug and coil.

Not a 45 knows more about this stuff than I do. I might try to put in a gal of e85 to see if it's water in the gas. Thats free and why not. A scan of fuel pressure etc would be a good step. |

It's not uncommon to show stray misfires on other cylinders especially if you have one completely dead cylinder. I'd start with what you know is bad and that's cylinder 1, and the easiest thing to eliminate first is spark. Also, if it is a V6 and you use shitty gas they like to carbon up real bad and that will cause random misfires as well. Without seeing the data, I don't know much more than anyone else here.
