NA LS3 Flex Fuel Table for E85

My buddy has a 1LE that is plagued with KR. We have (on several occasions) proved it to be Octane related, by adding some octane booster. He wants to add Flex Fuel anyway, so we ordered the DSX FF kit and some ID1050x. He's just FBO, so I think the ZL1 pump will be ok with a tuned FSCM. We know we dont stand to gain much HP, but the plan is to recover the HP he is losing to the KR hes seeing. Last log showed 7.5 degrees of KR and 11.5 degrees of total timing.
After adding a bottle of Lucas, we saw 21.5 degrees and 0 KR. So the E should get us back to PAR and then some. (And he's ready for the long mod road ahead, lol)

I was just curious if anyone has a good Flex Fuel (spark adder) Table that I can use to start our tuning process? It should show negative timing in low load areas and positive in higher loads.

I have one for a CTS V, but they are drastically different engines.
If not, I'll use the caprice stock FF table to start. Seems to be what everyone uses.

I don’t have a table but with a NA car e85 doesn’t need much more timing and in some cases likes less timing. 25 degrees is about all I would want the engine running total. Most cases with a NA setup on stock compression you can just leave the timing the same as you would on 93. You can actually add too much timing with e85 but won’t see knock and it’ll grenade the motor eventually. You really need a dyno or a time slip to see where e85 likes to run the best on your setup.

Thanks dreks and copy that WV.

We will be using the dyno and im aware of E85s window before it knocks. I was expecting to end up around that 24 degree area, and dont expect to gain much. Thanks fellas

I sent over my old LS3 tune along with my current LSX tune for whatever application you can use them for. Happy tuning!
