AC compressor clutch not engaging

So as the title says I'm having issues with my AC clutch, system has the correct level of oil and freon in it and is getting power, but the clutch will not cycle, I'm guessing its time to get a new compressor but was wanting to see if anyone here may have their own experience with this issue and if there is anything else I can check to see if it fixes the issue before I go through the pain of ordering a new compressor and throwing it on.

Disconnect the connecter at your AC clutch and with ignition on and AC on you should have 12+ volts between the two. If so you have a bad AC clutch if not you have an electrical problem.
