Umm... My Resonator Delete Sounds Like Corsa? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was listening to some sound clips of the Corsa cat back system and it sounded so similar to my resonator delete, EXCEPT at idle. The Corsa is much louder than mine at idle, but still. Not to mention I only paid $200 for my resonator delete and the Corsa cat back costs about $1000-$1200. What do you guys think? Oh and both are L99's.

id say its pretty close. doesnt have that same corsa sound, but for price you cant go wrong. im gonna cut off my resonators soon too.

what exactly is a resonator? is it just another name for the cadillac converters? i was gunna do a muffler delete but was wondering what this resonator delete has to offer?

They are not the cats. It is there to keep the sound down as the car moves from an 8 to a 4.

Sounds gargly to me. I think doing that mod and then an axle back would be the best combo IMO. Those only run around 500.

I'll be getting a cat back system in the next few months, probably Magnaflow or Corsa. My resonator delete is temporary, but it still sounds much much better than stock.

No a resonator is not a CATALYTIC converter. This isn't a fleetwood homie.
