I’m hoping somebody can help me with my problem I have been getting a message on the dash saying engine power reduced followed by code p0601. The car will idle for a couple minutes and then just cut off.. I checked other forums and a lot of people are saying it could be the voltage but I went out and bought another battery and I’m still having the same issue. My guess is either a bad PCM and to check the wiring to the PCM.. wanted to know if there is anything I can get before I go out and replace my PCM

Needs the ECM. It isn't a wiring issue, it's a fault internal to the engine computer.

Clean the throttle body. The system senses it is dirty and shuts down. Once you clean it, it should run fine. I attached pictrues of mine before and after. Once it was wiped out (it came right off) the car ran great again.
