code p2099
code p2099, i know what it is. its post catalitic full trim system too rich bank 2.thats the o2 sensors behind the cat on the passenger side. why am i throwing that code if my tuner tuned the rear o2's out? i did unplug the sensor doing the anti venom mod. never threw that code till after that mod. i also ram jammed it hard with a wide open 1st to 2nd shift and noticed the code. deleted it with my actron code reader but, it came back the other day when i got on it in the cool air. i have american racing headers with their high flow cats. if it would be not fully seated in the connector even though its tuned out would it throw a code? bad o2 sensor even tuned out throw the code. do i need to go to a shop with a better code reader? any of you tuners experienced with this stuff help the oldman out.

So I may wrong here, but when I added my Headers and Hi Flo cats, I believe my tuner turned the sensitivity down on my rear O2's but didn't completely shut them off so if they were not fully plugged in I could see that setting a code.

i hear you Joe.G i'm leaning that way. get under it when i pull the shifter this winter. it only started doing this after the anti venom mod. ya know, i think i'll get under it this week supposed to be around 70* degrees this week, i'll unplug it and add a dab of silicone grease to the connector and see if that helps. its been about 3 years since tune and i dont recall if he turned the sensitivity down or turned them off. i think he might have told me that due to the electronics that you cant completely tune it out. i'll call him tomorow. thanks,
