Test drove an 2SS today

F'in thing flys! Too bad I was on route 17 in paramus nj where traffic sucks ass!!!

People complain about blind spots, but it was really not that bad. If you know how to drive, you will compensate..

Interior was nice, too bad I couldn't look at it in too much detail :(

Handling was tight, and gripped the road very well.

Now I have to wait until March to actually order one! F!

It's worth the wait nj. To me, it's like owning a piece of history....take care of that thing when you finally get it.

I absolutely agree with you. If you know how to drive, you can figure out the blind spots.

The features are incredible. A natural rush to drive.

And the wait will be worth it.

Hand in there.

The test drive of the 2SS is what sealed it for me. I thought it drove much better than the Mustang GT Premium. I ordered my 2SS the day I went for the test drive.

Did the Stang have the Track Pack? Not asking to be a jerk, but all the reviews have praised the Mustang w/ Track Pack and I'd love to hear a consumer's real-world perspective on it vs the SS.

You should have taken it to the back roads in Upper saddler river, direction 59 to have some Fun!!!! Had a lot of fun in that area. But not on Sundays(well not on game days)!!! Even the malls are closed. Is it still like that? I used to work in Ramsey.

To be honest, I'm not sure. The salesman was a bit odd (and was a bit rude). When we went for the test drive, he insisted on driving the car a couple of miles to a parking lot out of town and then let me drive it for a couple of miles. It was as though he didn't trust me to drive the car when any other cars were around. I felt like I wasn't welcome to really drive it. He said it was because most people want to fiddle with all the buttons when they first get in and don't watch the road. I didn't have a great experience with that guy. He didn't say anything about a track pack. He did say the stereo had the kicker system.

The front is different since you actually see the entire length of the hood...doesn't take long to get use to it...

Glad you liked the test drive OP...I've loved mine from the day I sat in the seat on my Camaro...which was the first time I ever sat in one!!

Lucky you got to sit in one...much less drive it!!
