has anyone look into down sizing the rims on a ls or lt1 to 17 inch so that you could have a larger varies of tires to buy? you could also up the speed range also.
just an ideal that i am throwing out there,,, what do you guys think about this ideal?

Thought about it, but going up in size was a better option. Kept the 18 for winter then got a set of 21 for the summer. Couldn't go wrong at 1k for 21 wheels, tires, tpms.

i also want to keep the 18 inch rims for winter... but the replacement cost of 21 inch tire are out of this world.... i want upgrade the hp/Qt of the v6 . I was looking and many more tires to pick from that are not an arms and leg to buy and getting a higher speed rating... should be able to buy a 17 inch tires with the same dia tire with a larger wide.... just an ideal
