Black bowties and and reverse light bezels
Hey I know this may be something older, with a lot of threads on it already, but I am wondering if anything can give me insight on whether to go just black or anodized black on the bowties, not sure how much there is really a difference in person, and also those that have done it, any recommendations for the best pricing? Although I am also tempted to look into painting them myself.

I used vinyl to cover my bowties and used flat black. I chose flat black because it kind of contrasts against the gloss black paint. Since you have CGM I think either would go with that color.

I bought and install the GM Black billet aluminum ones. Not very hard to do other than getting the rear one off without scratching the paint. Surprising enough to me the chrome and gold originals are plastic where as the black ones are aluminum. The front one bolts on instead of clips and the back one attaches with tape. My car is yellow and the back one looks awesome. The jury is still out on the front one. I was able to remove both without damaging either so in the event I change my mind or trade it for a convertible I am not out anything.

used vinyl from walmart this weekend. Takes about 10 min for the back, a little bit longer for the front bow tie. Used matching flat black paint to fill in the "RS". Looks pretty sharp imho.

What do you guys think about the Wheel Insert Decals?
I have a Black 1LT, and was eventually planning on powder coating my 19" stock rims black.
In the mean time, what do you guys think about these? Look good??? http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam...l_Inserts.html
