Fuel filter replacement with e85?

How long do you guys go on average between changing your fuel filters? I have a fore innovations triple pump set up with an inline fuel filter (I believe its a microglass ssd filter) and run E85. Obviously there are a number of variables, but I was just curious to see what the "Rule of thumb" was in regards to this especially with e85 as I'm pretty new to the world of E.

My understanding is that E is dirtier. I change mine every 2-years but should every year. My fuel strainers on the pumps themselves needed swapping also. I would presume every 2-3 years on those. When I spoke with Fore, they instructed me since E was so caustic that the pumps should be swapped out annually. Pfftt!

I changed mine a couple years after install. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the new filter and the old one when i pulled it so i wouldn't ever do it yearly. I use the microglass as well i believe the 10 micron.

I haven't had my pumps rebuilt/replaced but i did change the switching order of my pumps since i know the primary had many more hours of use over the secondary/hobbs activated pump.

"They" say to run a tank of 91/93 each month since it has detergents and lubricants in it (to compensate running E). Awhile back, I had a LPE (CTS-V twin fuel pump) in and ran it for 4-5 years, no issues whatsoever. When I did swap over to triple Fores, I did have an issue after a while (maybe 2-3 years) in which on random runs, I could be running lean, other runs just fine. Pulled my hair out trying to figure out if it was the tune or hardware. After I swapped the triples out with the 525 Hellcat pumps, all was good again - so, I'm betting it was the pumps.

That's a mighty fine idea to try and get equal run (more time) on the pumps. I have connector wires in my console that I just have to swap plugs to "cycle" which is my primary and the secondaries. Reminds me it's time to do that.

This is what I run on mine. Only been on a year, but is stainless steel. Comes in various micron ratings.
Just more options to consider - Cheers
