Did it on my bagger HD. Or should I say, attempted it. Was a few minutes into it when they closed it down, due to an accident. What I can say, for the little bit I was on is the cutbacks are insane.

I wanted to do it on my aprilia or Ducati when I had them. A car doesn’t look as fun.

I have done it twice....once in my C7 Corvette and once in my C8. The last time was with a group of my Camaro buddies last June during a HUGE Camaro event.....over 600 cars, a 3 day event. it was a blast.

Yep, also did it on a Hayabusa in 2004

Camera car is a C7 Z06 with PDR, running the entire road in 3rd gear. I am much quicker running it in 2nd gear.

I’m 4.5 hrs away, it’s a day trip. Prefer going mid week, less traffic and idjits.

Note that there are many as good and better roads in the area. Take the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico to Robbinsville then from there to the crossroads on 129. The little restaurant at the Dragon store at the crossroads (129 and 28) has pretty good burgers.

At the Gap there be dragons.

I have. Such a blast, and a workout. Don’t have a pic on the iPad. Drove from Texas to it. Not just for that but still.
