At a loss here and need assistance
So I posted about a month and a half ago about my factory headunit getting extremely hot (230 degrees hot) so I decided to upgrade to a kenwood DDX376BT along with idata link maestro. I get everything installed headunit, flashed maestro, two amps, 10” sub and replaced all door, rear deck and dash speakers. I test the stereo before mounting it back in its slot and everything works. I get everything out back together and buttoned up and clean up my mess. Get in the car to take it for a spin and the headunit isn’t coming on, amps aren’t coming on, cluster isn’t working and I now have warnings about stabiitrac, anti theft system, traction control, tire pressure you name it it’s telling me it needs looked at. So I check all the fuses first under the hood, drivers side panel and trunk panel on drivers rear with a fluke 87 multimeter and all have polarity and check out good. Next I pull the headunit back out and start inspecting wires and looking for grounding issues and everything looks goods. I even stripped the wrap off the factory wiring checking to see if some wires melted from when factory HU got extremely hot (I think HU had an internal issue which failed to turn the fan on). Any help of what to check would be greatly appreciated at this point.

Unfortunately no. We’ve pulled everything out of the car except the dash to make it easier to trace and inspect the wires and after testing each individual wiring and inspecting every inch we could see visually we narrowed it down to the dark green wire pin #28 in the 44 pin connector which is the low speed GMLAN serial data wire. Now that all the main inspection and testing is completed time to find out why that wire isn’t sending a turn on signal to majority of its functions it controls. Also ran into some other wires in that same 44 pin harness. I need to know what they’re for and their function.
Harness Wire color. Label Pin location Pin #2 Yellow CGI- Pin #16 Tan CGI+ Pin #13 L-green Center Stack Wake-Up Signal Pin #27. Pink Center Stack Reset Signal Does anyone know what their abbreviation stands for and what’s their function?? |

I think I found the issue and hopefully it’s the only issue. When I had the factory headunit pulled I cut out some plastic behind the HU to make room for all the wiring and maestro box. While doing so I cut through 5 green wires in a loom that were tucked into the corner of the dash support. Shitty thing is they’re all green wires but luckily I cut the wires at an angle so I should be able to line them back up by the lengths. Anyone know what these wires are for? They all tie into a plug type connector that says Delphi on it, guessing it has to do with the data, gps and onstar. Any chance that all these wires Can be twisted together to make shit easier??

That "black box" at the end of the green wires just ties them all together. If that larger bundle of wires to one side doesn't connect in other than through a green wire.

I think the green wires each have small numbers.

If removed, the new connection needs to be properly made. |

I don't know if GM uses it.
