Decent low-profile Jack that isn't stupid expensive?

Honestly I don't even know which brand(s) to trust for this sort of thing right now.

I'm looking for a low-profile jack that will let me get the ZL1 up in the air. Quality is obviously first priority, but something that isn't stupidly expensive would be nice...

Recommendations are appreciated!

Awesome, I appreciate the input guys. Sounds like there are many options that will work for me.

On the other end of the spectrum - are there any brands ya'll would suggest I avoid no matter what?

This is the current version of what I have. I got it at Northern Tool under Arcan's Blackline label. It was under $250 back then and I used the NT 20% off coupon they send all the time. It's no longer on their site. It's pretty well made, maybe that dual plunger pump has something to do with it.

https://www.amazon.com/Arcan-2-Ton-S.../dp/B007G83T16

I've had a couple HF jacks and they never failed but were a bit harder to work with. I did have to put wheels on one. I have a Ranger long reach that lifts 31" for my 4x4 and I broke the piece that pushes the pump plunger. Summit replaced the jack. Don't understand why you would make that part from cast iron, and now I have to be a little more gentle with that jack because I know that piece can break. I hate having to baby tools.

Back up Top

Question:

Does the Quick Jack fit under a lowered 5th Gen?

I cannot get a regular jack under, so I have had to purchase a pair of wheel jacks to get it up so that a jack will actually fit under it.

Ditto. I use a HF aluminum low profile. Unless you have a garage stay away from the steel ones. They are just too heavy to carry around.

Buy the smallest Daytona aluminum jack at Harbor freight, used one for years and it just won't die.

Make sure you take a chock for the wheels with you.
